Disappointing Max and Erma's

On Saturday I went to a friend's birthday at Max and Erma's in Evansville. It was a complete disaster on the half of the restaurant. I agree there were a lot of us, and they should have been better prepared. They had a young kid working both of our tables (about 25 of us in total) and it seemed he was rather new employee. The food was not spectacular and not bad. Just nothing too exciting. It took us almost an hour to get out final checks. Yes we all had individual checks, but they screwed up almost all of our checks after he came through and specifically asked us what we each had on each check. Then they finally got the checks right, but one of the party members complained and got the gratuity taken off. It was a complete disaster.

I had fish tacos and we split some fried pickles. They were nothing to write home about. The fried pickles were a little tough and not enough seasoning. I feel that BDUBS still has the best fried pickles.
